G Scale 3D printing creates physical models from digital 3D designs. A printer builds each part layer by layer, allowing us to produce custom buildings, structures, details, and replacement parts.

Garden railroad buildings and structures deteriorate over time, and replacement parts can be difficult to find. GS3DP was started to help enthusiasts maintain their existing models and create personalized additions to their railroads.

We create and adapt designs for custom projects, while respecting the intellectual property rights of others. Customers requesting reproductions or designs based on third-party material should have the necessary rights or permission. We may decline projects where rights are unclear.

Yes. We can work from your sketches, dimensions, photographs, or design files, subject to any applicable intellectual property restrictions. Design and conversion work is included in your individual quote.

We approximate to 1:24 scale, but other G Scale proportions can be accommodated. Please specify your preferred G-scale and measurements when requesting a quote.

Every project is quoted individually based on design and setup work, materials, printing complexity, and production requirements. Our quoted item price excludes shipping, handling, and applicable taxes. These additional charges are calculated by Etsy when you place your order. See our Pricing page.

Print complexity depends on factors such as the number of build plates, level of detail, geometry, support requirements, and number of colors used on each plate.

We can typically print up to four colors on a plate. Additional color changes may substantially increase production time and cost; availability depends on the design.

Yes. We primarily use high-quality ASA, selected for its UV resistance, weather resistance, and improved heat resistance compared with standard PLA. Outdoor performance still depends on design, installation, exposure, and maintenance. Some projects may use other materials when appropriate.

We never use PLA for any of our outdoor garden railroad or other products. ASA is our primary material because it is better suited to prolonged outdoor exposure.

Many larger models are supplied unassembled to help reduce package size and shipping costs. Assembly requirements depend on the project and will be discussed before ordering. Some items may be available assembled, which can increase handling and shipping costs.

We aim for a close fit and appearance, but 3D printed replacement parts may differ from original cast components in detail, texture, material, and color. Please provide measurements and clear photos where possible.

We inspect our products before shipment and make every effort to ensure they meet the agreed project specifications.

Because each item is individually 3D printed and assembled, minor imperfections or variations associated with the printing process may occur. These can include slight surface irregularities, small differences in detail, and minor color variations. Filament colors may also differ slightly from photographs due to lighting, screen settings, and material batches.

These minor variations are normal characteristics of 3D-printed products and are not necessarily manufacturing defects.

If you believe an item has a manufacturing defect or does not match the agreed specifications, please contact us promptly so we can review the issue.

Yes. Custom lettering, names, numbers, and signage can be incorporated into many designs. Include your desired wording and dimensions in your quote request.

Not necessarily. Some projects may incorporate commercially manufactured components, such as LED lights or solar panels, when appropriate and agreed upon for the design.

We can discuss custom G Scale figures, although they may cost more than commercially available figures. Some details may require hand painting.

All products are made to order, and we do not maintain finished-item inventory. Smaller projects can be quicker, while complex buildings and structures can take considerably longer. We provide an estimated production timeline before you place an order.

No. Shipping and handling are additional to the GS3DP item quote. Your order is placed through Etsy, which calculates shipping and applicable taxes at checkout. We use economical shipping options where practical.

Most doors and windows are non-operational unless otherwise specified. Operational features may be possible for some designs at additional cost, but wind and weather can make moving parts less practical outdoors.

First, contact us with your project details and budget. After reviewing and approving your quote, you place the order through Etsy. Shipping, handling, and applicable taxes are not included in our quoted item price and are calculated by Etsy when the order is placed.

Because all GS3DP products are made to order, cancellation requests should be submitted as soon as possible.

Your payment authorizes us to begin work on your order, but payment alone does not mean production has started. Production begins when we start work on your order, which may include custom design, CAD modeling, modifications, print preparation, or physical 3D printing.

If a cancellation is requested before any work begins, a full refund will generally be available.

Once any work has started, a full refund is no longer possible. Depending on the amount of work completed and costs incurred, a partial refund may be offered.

All cancellations and refunds are subject to the applicable Etsy policies and consumer protection laws.
